A BODY CONTINUE ITs STATE OF REST OR STATE OF MOTION ALONG A STRAIGHT LINE , UNTIL OR UNLESS an EXTERNAL FORCE IS ACTED UPON THEM....

SO THE QUESTION ARISE . WHY WE CAN NOT STOP WHILE WE ARE WALKING??

THIS ALSO FOLLOW NEWTON’s 1^st LAW...

In his law he states that a body is in motion when there is no external force ..

                                               

                                     i.e. Force of friction

Let us take another example.

It also follow newton’s 1^st  law as the ball is in rest but when external force is applied by us it changes it state from rest to motion ..
